Born 14th September 1995 in Williamstown, Victoria, Anton was always driven by two ideals, have fun and do it fast!
The competitive spirit thrived in Anton early as he naturally competed with anyone who would challenge him but found the thrill of competition early on in motor cross racing in the 50cc class before moving up to the 65cc class.
Real passion for high speed competition came when Anton was introduced karting at the age of 13.
Anton quickly make a name for himself taking out Series, State Titles around Australia and in 2011, the Australian Sprint Kart Championship.
From Go Karts to Formula Ford in 2012 Anton competed in the Victorian Formula Ford Championship placing 2nd and in the second half of the year gaining some experience in the Australian Formula Ford Championship where he took the last round win at Winton Raceway.
Showing natural talent and innate ability to push a vehicle to its limits with little experience started to grab the attention of others within the industry.
Racing in the 2013 Australian Formula Ford Championship with Sonic Motor Racing, Anton was rarely off the podium and went on the win the Championship along with lap records at Phillip Island, Homebush and Bathurst.
Attention came from overseas, particularly Europe and the USA, and after testing in Florida, USA in late December the decision was made to sign with Lechner Racing in Europe for 2014 in the Formula Renault 1.6 Championship, a staging ground for young drivers and a stepping stone for the path into Formula 1.
Against all odds, Anton proved why he was a rising star, competing on different tracks in different countries against experienced drivers, Anton went on to win the Championship. Moving on to Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup in 2015 where after only competing in 5 rounds managed to finish in the top 20 drivers from around Europe.
Anton’s time abroad gave him a wealth of experience and enabled him to continue to grow as a race driver and paved his return home to the Australian motor racing scene.
Racing legend Paul Morris signed Anton in the 2016 Dunlop Series to race a Ford FG Falcon which netted a result of 11th in his rookie season along with a podium finish of 3rd at Bathurst.
A big change from racing open-wheelers in Europe to the closed confines of the Supercar, Anton rose to the challenge and has continued to turn heads as he continues to rise to the top and challenge in the current 2017 Dunlop Super2 Series proving himself as a contender recently taking out Race 4 and the Round Win Phillip Island.
Anton will continue to compete and reach new heights in his career as racing is well and truly in his blood.
